Keurig Coffee Maker Reviews: A Quick Look at the Latest Models

Brilliant! You have landed on the right page. Are you looking for some of the best coffee makers from Keurig on the market? There are many products in the Keurig range (all good, of course), but we have narrowed this selection down to produce a list of ten of the best of them.

Keurig Newest Models Reviewed:

There are a lot of different Keurig machines on the market. To be honest, all of them are brilliant. If you bought a coffee maker with the Keurig name on it, then we are 100% positive that you will be happy with it. That is why finding the ten Keurigs was complicated. Any of their products could have easily made their way onto this list.

The machines you find below are the ‘best of the best. So, go through them. Read the reviews, and find the best Keurig for your kitchen.

Keurig Classic Coffee Maker

We will kick off this list of the best Keurig machines with one of the most popular products in their range; the K-Classic. It boasts a ton of different features, too, including:

  • Works with K-Cup sizes 6, 8, and 10oz.
  • 48-oz water reservoir, which is more than enough to brew 6-cups of coffee.
  • Automatic descaling mode. This helps to keep the coffee maker nice and clean.
  • Simple to use

As with all of the Keurigs you find on this list, the K-Classic will be dead simple to use. All you need to do is fill up the water reservoir with water, insert your K-Cup, and select your cup size. Your amazing-tasting brew will be ready to drink in mere minutes.

The K-Classic does have an automatic descaling mode built into it. This is designed to help remove calcium and mineral build-up in the coffee machine. This can impact the flavor of your coffee. Again, this mode is simple to use. It is recommended that you run it at least once every 6-months. You will need to pair this mode with Keurig descaling tablets for the maximum clean.

Outside of this, the K-Classic is the most straightforward coffee maker in the Keurig range. This is the perfect coffee brewer model for those new to the world of Keurig machines or just wishing for something nice and compact that will not take up much space in their kitchen.

PROS:

  • Simple to use
  • Works with the entire K-Cups.
  • Easy to descale
  • Smaller, despite offering a larger water reservoir.

CONS:

  • No control over water temperature.
  • No control over brew strength outside of changing cup size.
  • Does not work with K-Mug and K-Carafe pods.

Keurig K-Select Coffee Maker

The K-Select may be another “simple” coffee maker from Keurig, but it is still more than worthy of a place in your kitchen. If you want a machine where you do not necessarily need to do much more than hit a single button to brew up an excellent beverage, then the K-Select may be just the ticket. Just look at the features this machine brings to the table:

  • Brews sizes 6, 8, 10, and 12oz K-Cup pods.
  • 52 ounce water reservoir, which should be enough for around 5 standard cups of coffee.
  • Removing the drip tray allows you to insert a travel mug for ‘on the go’ cups of coffee.

The K-Select is compatible with almost all K-Cups in the Keurig range. However, there will be a few more complicated drinks that the K-Select will not work with. However, these are few and far between. The chances are that if you have a favorite pod, it will work with your Keurig.

The K-Select is simple to use. Once you load up the K-Pod, the coffee maker will work out the optimal brewing settings for it. However, if you wish for a stronger or weaker cup of coffee, you can adjust the cup size. For most people, this should be more than enough strength to control them, though. However, this will be the limit for adjusting the strength of the brew.

The modern design ensures that the K-Select should easily fit into most kitchen designs. You will also be pleased to know that the K-Select is available in many different colors, so you can easily find the product style that best matches your personality.

PROS:

  • Allows multiple cup sizes
  • Reasonably-sized water reservoir
  • Works with most travel mugs
  • Takes one button press to brew a coffee
  • Removable drip tray

CONS:

  • No brew strength adjustment
  • No temperature adjustment
  • Does not brew specialty brews from Keurig.

Keurig K-Cafe Coffee Maker

The Keurig K-Cafe may look slightly more complicated than the previous two products on this list, but don’t let that put you off. It just means that you will have a bit more control over the style of brew that you make. These are the features loaded into the K-Cafe:

  • Works will all K-Cup pods. This includes specialty drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos.
  • Can make ice coffee.
  • 60-oz water reservoir
  • Works with travel mugs
  • Built-in milk frother
  • 6, 8, 10, and 12oz sizes, plus 2oz shots for the lattes and cappuccino drinks.
  • Can use the reusable coffee filter

It is the last feature that we find the most interesting here. This is because this coffee maker will allow you to use your ground coffee. You will need to purchase the Keurig reusable coffee filter to do this. However, the cost isn’t high. Plus, you will be saving a lot more money in comparison to buying the pods. Although, of course, if you want to use the pods, they will still work with the K-Cafe. It takes one minutes to brew a cup like that.

You have a surprising amount of control over the coffee brew you make. While you will not have complete control over the temperature (outside of hot and cold brews), you do have control over the cup size. This will help control the strength. We particularly love the ability to produce coffee shots, which means you can get a nice, concentrated dose of caffeine. Perfect for when you wake up in the morning!

All in all, if you want an ‘advanced’ machine, but you do not want to have complicated button presses, then the Keurig K-Cafe may be great for you.

PROS:

  • Built-in milk frother.
  • Works with multiple cup dimensions
  • Can make coffee shots
  • Can produce ice drinks
  • Can make your own filter coffee.
  • One minute brew time

CONS:

  • Do not have full control over the temperature of the coffee.
  • The milk frother makes the product considerably larger. Not great if you never plan on using the milk frother.

Keurig K-Elite

If you simply cannot wait to down a fantastic tasting brew, then the Keurig K-Elite may be perfect for you. This fantastic coffee maker can brew a complete K-Cup drink in under one minute. It is called the ‘Elite’ for a reason too. This product is brimming with features. This includes:

  • A massive 75-oz water reservoir.
  • Quiet brew technology. You will barely hear the K-Elite when it is in action.’
  • Can give hot water ‘on-demand’
  • Works with 5 different cup dimensions; 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz
  • Has a ‘strength’ button if you want to boost the strength of your coffee
  • Temperature regulator feature

There is just so much packed into the K-Elite that it is pretty tough to know where to begin. Although, we must say that we are huge fans of the large water reservoir. This 75-oz tank can be removed, which makes refilling your Keurig K-Elite as mess-free as possible. The larger water tank capacity is more than enough to keep even a couple of avid coffee drinkers fueled throughout the day.

We also love the inclusion of the temperature control feature. This will allow you to adjust the temperature of the K-Elite between 187F and 192F. It may not seem like much of a difference between the minimum and maximum, but this difference is enormous in the world of coffee. If you play around with the settings, even by a degree or two, you will see just how much it shakes up the taste of your coffee.

We were also surprised at just how quiet the K-Elite is when it comes to brewing coffee. The K-Elite is generally a relatively quiet coffee brewer in the first place. But very few of them brew coffee as fast as the K-Elite does.

PROS:

  • Fast coffee brewing
  • Temperature control functionality
  • Large water reservoir

CONS:

  • Does not allow you to use your own filter coffee. You must use the Keurig K-Cups.

Keurig K-Mini Plus

The K-Mini Plus is small, but it still packs a punch. However, let’s be honest, what else did you expect from this company? These are the features:

  • Designed to be portable
  • K-Cup holder built into the K-Mini Plus
  • Compatible with the K-Cup reusable coffee filter, so you can use your own ground coffee
  • Water reservoir holds enough water for one cup

Firstly, we want to point out that if you are looking for the best Keurig coffee machines purely to use in the comfort of your own home, then the K-Mini Plus probably isn’t the best option for you. This product has been designed to be portable, and we feel that it lacks several features for “at-home” brewers.

If you look at the design of the K-Mini Plus, you can see that everything about it has been designed with portability in mind. This begins with the small water reservoir (enough to brew a single cup), plus the ability to store up to 9 K-Cups right there in the unit. It is just 5″ wide too, which means that you can store it in your bag. This is a brilliant machine, assuming you have access to water and electricity when you are “out and about.”

Despite the smaller size of the K-Mini Plus, Keurig has still managed to include a couple of much-loved features in it. This includes the ability to select one of two cup dimensions. You also have that amazing’strong’ button on the machine, which is perfect if you want to add a quick hit of extra strength to the coffee.

This is compatible with nearly all Keurig K-Cup products on the market. Although, do bear in mind that the K-Mini Plus will not make iced coffee drinks. This is pretty much just for those that want to drink a good, strong cup.

PROS:

  • Perhaps the most portable product in the Keurig range
  • Just 5″ wide
  • Holds K-Cups in the unit. This make it even more portable.

CONS:

  • It is portable, which means it isn’t really ideal for those who want a machine purely for ‘at home’ use.
  • The reservoir is a bit small.

Keurig K-Duo

Want a K-Cup but do not want to sacrifice the versatility of a standard filter coffee maker? Well, the Keurig K-Duo Coffee Maker may be perfect for you. This is a single serve coffee maker and a drip filter coffee maker rolled into the same unit. These are the features that the K-Duo Coffee Maker brings to the table:

  • Can use filter coffee or K-Cups
  • 12-cup carafe
  • The single cup coffee maker offers 6, 8, 10, and 12oz size options.
  • 60oz water reservoir
  • Auto brew function

The carafe and single -serve coffee maker are different coffee-making methods, yet they are both rolled into the same unit. You have the single-serve coffee option for making more specialized drinks, and the carafe option for making coffee for larger groups of people or just a standard bit of filter coffee. We feel that a lot of people would enjoy this sort of thing.

We do love the fact that you can control just how much coffee you make with the carafe. So few coffee makers offer this level of control. Using the carafe is the same as using the single-serve part. You just need to select the number of cups that you want to make. The coffee maker will do the rest of the work for you.

We particularly love the fact that the K-Duo makes use of a shared water reservoir. This is a good design. It means that you do not have to constantly worry about whether two reservoirs are kept filled up. It makes brewing coffee even simpler.

As with most Keurigs on the market, the K-Duo comes complete with a “strong” brew button. This is ideal if you love your coffee slightly stronger than usual and want to add a touch of pizzazz to it.

PROS:

  • Having both a carafe and a single-serve coffee maker offers the best of both worlds.
  • The shared reservoir is handy
  • Easy to use

CONS:

  • Despite having a carafe, this Keurig is not compatible with K-Carafe pods.
  • Because this is two machines rolled into one, it is a larger machine. It may be too bulky for smaller kitchens.

Keurig K575 K-cup coffee maker

With the Keurig K575, we are starting to move more into the heavily feature-rich products from Keurig. We are also starting to crack into the more oversized products. The Keurig K575 is perfect for a family of coffee drinkers. These are the features you can enjoy here:

  • 80-oz removable tank
  • Compatible with both K-Cup and K-Carafe pods
  • Single coffee cup sizes supported are 4oz, 6oz 8oz, 10oz,  and 12oz
  • Carafe cup sizes supported are 22oz, 24oz, and 30oz
  • Touch screen
  • Adjustable temperature settings
  • ‘Strong Brew’ button.

Let’s start by talking about the K-Carafe support because none of the other coffee machines have supported it so far. The K-Carafe pods are precisely the same as the K-Cup pods. However, unlike the K-Cup pods, the Carafe version is designed to support more significant amounts of coffee. Think along the lines of making perfect Keurig coffee for around 6-8 people at once with a single button press, much in the same way as brewing a single coffee with your Keurig.

The Keurig K575 brews coffee exceedingly fast too. A single cup is finished in under a minute, and a large carafe will take just a few minutes.

The touchscreen adds a bit more control to the way that you make your coffee too. It is highly responsive, and navigating through the menus is an absolute breeze. It takes no more than a couple of screen taps to make the perfect brew for you.

PROS:

  • Supports K-Carafe pods
  • Fast brewing
  • Larger water reservoir
  • Fantastic touch screen

CONS:

  • You do not have full control of the brew strength
  • Quite large

Keurig K475 Programmable Brewer

You will probably notice that the model number of this model is almost the same as the previous one. Why is this? Well, it is because it is the older version of the K575. While the features are similar, the Keurig K475 is a little bit cheaper. These are the features you can enjoy with this product:

  • 70 ounce water reservoir
  • Supports K-Carafe pods (22oz, 24oz, and 30oz)
  • Supports K-Cup pods.
  • Touchscreen
  • Control of the temperature (5 options)
  • Ability to add extra strength to your coffee brew.

The only real difference between the Keurig K475 and the K575 is the design of the product. The touch screen of the Keurig K475 is a little bit smaller too. For most people, this isn’t going to be that much of a problem. Both of these machines are going to be producing some brilliant cups of coffee.

You will love the “auto brew” function packed into the Keurig K475. You can set it up to make coffee, so it is ready for when you wake up in the morning or even when you get home from work. All of this is accomplished through the color touchscreen. Although, do bear in mind that because the touchscreen is about an inch smaller than that of the K575, it may not be ideal for those with the largest of hands, but we still feel those people will navigate the touchscreen still. The button is quite significant.

PROS:

  • Large, removable reservoir
  • Temperature control
  • Can add extra strength to your brew
  • Works with both K-Carafe and K-Cup pods

CONS:

  • The touchscreen is smaller than the K575.

Keurig K250 single serve k-cup coffee maker

If you want your Keurig to have bold colors, then the K250 may be perfect for you. Sure, there is a black model of the Keurig K250 available, but the real highlight will be the bright colors that you can’t find with any of the other Keurig models. For this reason, we feel that the K250 may be perfect for more modern kitchens that favor colors that pop out.

These are the features that you can enjoy with the K250:

  • A 40 ounce water reservoir
  • Works with both K-Cup and K-Carafe pods
  • Touchscreen
  • Dispense hot water
  • Boost the strength of your coffee with a single button tap.

The Keurig K250 does not come with a carafe, sadly. However, there are a few Keurig products on the market that support their K-Carafe pods. Luckily, the carafe can be purchased separately, and we highly recommend that you pick one up if you want to get the most out of your K250 coffee maker.

If you are brewing a single cup, you will be pleased to know that the K250 can make a cup in under a minute. If you are brewing a whole carafe, then this will only take a couple of minutes. This makes it one of the fastest coffee makers on the market.

PROS:

  • Works with both K-Cup and K-Carafe pods. This makes it a versatile machine.
  • Easy to control using the touchscreen
  • Available in a huge array of different colors

CONS:

  • The water reservoir is a little bit small
  • No temperature regulator
  • You have to purchase the carafe separately

Keurig K155 Office

We are going to wrap up this list by talking about the K155. Unlike the other products on this list, this one hasn’t been designed to be used ‘at at home’. Instead, it is built for almost constant use in an office environment. Here are the features:

  • Full-color touchscreen interface
  • Large 90 ounce water reservoir
  • Brews 4, 6, 8, and 10oz cup sizes
  • Adjustable brew temperature
  • Brews coffee in under a minute

Since this coffee maker has been designed for use in an office environment, Keurig has designed it to be used almost constantly. After all, most office workers are big coffee drinkers. This means that the price is slightly higher than other coffee makers, but it is much more solidly built.

To stop a queue forming among office workers, you will be pleased to know that this machine brews coffee in under one minute. It is dead simple to make a cup of coffee too. Everything is controlled by the full-color touchscreen, and it usually only takes one or two taps to get the water flowing.

You have a bit of control over your brew. Although, unlike other Keurig machines, you do not have the “strength boost” button. Instead, you will control the strength based on your cup size. Thankfully, you can change the water temperature (5 different temperatures).

Another major benefit of the K155 for the office environment is that it has been designed to be easy to clean. All Keurigs are easy to clean, but this seems a bit better than others. It essentially wipes clean, with a bit of descaling required on occasion.

PROS:

  • Well-built for heavy use
  • Simple to use
  • The largest touchscreen of all Keurig models
  • Temperature regulator

CONS:

  • No strength control
  • Does not support 12oz brews
  • Can be a bit expensive for ‘home use’.
